On each weekday morning, after the class meetings, students will receive an at-home assignment.
These uniquely designed assignments include suggestions for practicing Reiki; journal prompts; and short readings. The assignments provide a way for you to... - become more familiar with working with the energy; - strengthen your practice; and - reflect on your experiences.
The assignments also allow us to spend our time wisely. I prefer that students read some of the course materials on their own, so that we may come together for discussions, and have time for students to experience the potent and interactive course content with spaciousness. My intention is to use our virtual face-to-face time in a dynamic, interactive and sacred way.
Please plan on a minimum 1.5 - 2 hours for each assignment. Of course, more time practicing Reiki is always beneficial!
Each assignment includes the following:
A main assignment, implementing Reiki. (30 – 60 minutes)
Shorter assignments for more practice using Self-Reiki and Reiki with others.
Journal Prompts for reflections on the assignments, and personal growth.
I also invite all students to share any or all parts of their Reiki experiences and journal writing with the group. The course includes an interactive google document as a way for students to learn from each other; support one another, and build community.
