Reiki is one of the most subtle, and yet profound, healing modalities that exists.  After you take these classes, you will understand why this is so.  

Reiki is remarkably easy to learn.  In fact, the learning is not really in the Reiki.  You will learn the techniques and methods to work with Reiki.  You will gain knowledge about how, as a Reiki practitioner, you can impact the world--by practicing self-Reiki and giving Reiki to others.  But, the Reiki is not learned; it will simply be ignited within you.  

At Almus Energy Medicine, I emphasize both BEING Reiki, and practicing Reiki.  In class, we explore the cultural and historical transformation of Reiki, from the Japanese founder, who practiced Reiki meditatively, to the current day, in which millions of people around the world use Reiki personally and professionally, for the healing of the body, mind and spirit.   

You will be given ample time for hands-on, experiential learning.  You will gain a deep appreciation for the world of energy medicine, wherein, "everything is energy".  And, in a warm and heart-focused environment, your own life will be transformed.  
​In these classes, you will learn: 
REIKI LEVEL I: 
  • The history of Reiki 
  • The nature of Reiki energy
  • Hand placements for giving Reiki to yourself 
  • Techniques for meditation, centering, scanning, and building intuition (Gassho, Byosen, and Reiji-Ho, in Japanese)
  • Dry bathing, a method to purify your energy field
  • Hand placements for giving Reiki to others, informally and professionally 
  • The Reiki Ideals
  • A LOT of practice time during class.
And, you will, of course receive the Reiki I attunement and be guided in a beautiful, Holy Fire meditation.

 
REIKI LEVEL II: 
  • Reiki II symbols: How to draw, activate and use them 
  • The inner meaning of the symbols
  • Methods for using the symbols in treating yourself and others
  • Distance Reiki
  • How to incorporate Reiki into your daily life
  • The use of Reiki for global healing​
You will receive the Reiki II attunement, and the Holy Fire Level II meditation experience.  The class is filled with hands-on learning, each student receiving and practicing full treatments using everything you have learned.
